STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA LIMITED RECRUITMENT 2012 JUNIOR ASSISTANT AND TRANSLATOR

Steel Authority of India Limited, Central Marketing Organisation will hold All India Open Examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Assistant (Trainee) and Translator. The selection process will comprise of Written test followed by Computer Skill / Computer Typing Test / Interview.

Name of post : Junior assistant

Number of vacancies: 32

Educational qualifications : 1. Graduation (full time degree course) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks (45% for SC / ST / PWD Candidates)
2. Diploma in Computer Application of minimum 1 year duration with proficiency in MS Office Package.
3. Minimum Typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English on PC.

Salary : The selected candidates will be initially recruited as Jr. Assistant (Trainee) and will be on training for a period of two years. During the first year, they will receive a stipend of Rs. 8250 per month. In the second year, the stipend
will be Rs. 9350 per month.

Number of vacancies: 3

Educational qualifications : 1. Masters Degree in Hindi or English with 60% marks with English or Hindi respectively as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level OR Masters Degree in any subject with English or Hindi medium with 60% marks and Hindi and English respectively as compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level

2. One year Diploma / certificate course in translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa from an institute recognized by Govt of India OR Minimum two years
experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa.

Salary : S3 / Rs. 9160 – 3% - 13150 with a minimum basic pay of Rs. 9,160/-.
